The Academy of Modern Behavioral Analysis and Strategies is launching the “Language of Behavior” project with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
As part of the project, 25 educational videos will be produced, dedicated to the practical application of applied behavior analysis methods. The materials will demonstrate how to use behavioral strategies in everyday and learning situations: during communication, carrying out daily tasks, teaching new skills, and overcoming behavioral difficulties.
A separate part of the project will be a documentary interview film with its participants. Clients, parents, and specialists will share their own experiences and speak about the importance of ABA for developing essential skills, increasing independence, and improving the quality of life of people with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
Alla Moskalets is the author of the project’s concept, a behavior analyst, and the president of the Ukrainian Association of Behavior Analysts.
“We need to train qualified specialists in applied behavior analysis. At the same time, it is important to give parents access to clear and practical strategies that will help them support the development of a child with autism or other neurodevelopmental disorders more effectively. Above all, our materials should show in practice the everyday and learning situations in which ABA methods can be applied.”
The “Language of Behavior” project aims to make scientifically grounded behavioral methods understandable and accessible, and to create high-quality Ukrainian-language educational content for parents, ABA specialists, and professionals in related fields.
